Deputy Minister Nobuhle Nkabane addresses Southern Africa Oil and Gas Conference, 15 Sept

The Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Dr Nobuhle Nkabane (MP) will on Thursday 15 September 2022, deliver a keynote address at the 2nd Southern Africa Oil and Gas Conference set to take place in Cape Town.

The two-day conference is convened by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE), the Petroleum Agency of South Africa (PASA) and the South African Oil and Gas Alliance (SAOGA) under the theme: "Shifting gear: towards a sustainable oil and gas future for Southern Africa."

The conference brings together policy makers, delegates from the business fraternity, the academia, research institutions, and non-governmental organisations to deliberate on, amongst other focus areas, the regulatory framework, new exploration opportunities and advances that would unlock Southern African’s potential in the oil and gas sector.
