The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Mduduzi Manana MP, will open officially the annual Nelson Mandela Career Development Festival at Umfolozi TVET College, Esikhawini Campus in Esikhawini on Wednesday, 15 July 2015 from 11h00 to 14h30.
The Festival will run from the 15th of July until the 18th of July, to coincide with the Mandela Day. The purpose of the Festival is to provide career information, advice and guidance to high school learners and youth Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET).
Over 1000 grade 9 learners and NEET from the uThungulu District will be addressed by the Deputy Minister, other Government officials and exhibitors. The learners will be exposed to various career paths, advised on subject choices related to their career of choice and exposed to various funding opportunities.
