The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Ms. Makhotso Sotyu will undertake an inspection visit of the Vredefort Dome Interpretation Centre Project which will immediately be followed by a Tourism Stakeholder Engagement. This project is part of the Department of Tourism’s Infrastructure Projects with the primary objective revitalise the Vredefort Dome Interpretation Centre. This initiative is in line with Department’s National Rural Tourism Strategy and Tourism Master Plan, which aims to adopt a developmental approach to promoting tourism products and opportunities in South Africa.
