Transport Deputy Minister to officiate at the DGCA Programme on Aviation Resilience
The Deputy Minister of Transport Mr Lisa Mangcu will attend the Directors-General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) Programme on Aviation Resilience on Wednesday, 12 April 2023.
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) in partnership with the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) will be hosting the gathering which will be attended by international delegates.
This programme, developed by ICAO and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), aims to provide a platform to address recovery and resilience of the global aviation sector, through the alignment with internationally coordinated guidance developed by ICAO.
The programme covers lessons learnt from the post COVID-19 pandemic crisis, with a particular focus on aviation safety and sustainability, and it will also focus on resilience building and look at emerging issues in the civil aviation sector while improving alignment with international best practices.
