The Deputy Minister of Transport, Mr. Lisa Mangcu, will lead a station and level crossing inspection at Kenilworth on Wednesday, 22nd November 2023 joined by Chairpersons and Board Members of the Railway Safety Regulator (RSR) and the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA) respectively as well as senior officials of the Department.
As part of the level crossing inspection, members of the RSR Board will embark on a train journey from Strand Station to Eersterivier Station.
This visit is part of the Board’s oversight on the Regulator’s mandate to ensure safety in rail operations.
