The Deputy Minister of Transport, Mr. Lisa Mangcu will on Friday 20 October take a train ride from the Kwa Mashu to the Durban Train station to inspect progress being made on the corridor as part of the Department's October Transport Month Campaign for 2023.
As part of the event, the Deputy Minister will also join a rail safety awareness programme with members of the community and commuters.
Deputy Minister Mangcu will be joined during the train ride and safety awareness programme by the Chairpersons, Board members and senior officials of the Department, the Rail Safety Regulator (RSR) and the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA)
