Human Settlements Deputy Minister Zou Kota – Fredericks will officially launch the Ditsobotla People’s Housing Programme (PHP) project in Lichtenburg, North West on Wednesday, 10 July 2013.
The Ditsobotla (PHP) project started in 2011 and consists of 710 units. A total of 360 of these units have been completed while 350 are still under construction.
Deputy Minister Kota- Fredericks will be accompanied by North West MEC for Human Settlements, Public Safety and Liaison Mr Nono Maloyi and the Executive Mayor of Ditsobotla District Municipality Councillor Lesego Holele.
People Housing Programme is a community based form of human settlements delivery in which beneficiaries initiate, plan, and design and implement their projects.
