Deputy Minister John Jeffery launches Howick Small Claims Court, 8 Oct

Justice and Constitutional Development Deputy Minister John Jeffery to officially launch Howick Small Claims Court 

The Deputy Minister of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mr John Jeffery, MP will officially launch the Small Claims Court in Howick. The launch will be followed by an Imbizo where community members will have an opportunity to interact with the Deputy Minister on justice related issues.

This is part of the Department’s commitment to establish Small Claims Courts in every magisterial district country-wide. Small Claims Courts are used to settle minor civil disputes and claims between parties without the use of legal representation in an informal, simple, cost effective and speedy process.
