Deputy Minister John Jeffery addresses farm workers in Malmesbury, 22 Oct

The Deputy Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mr John Jeffery, MP, will address farm workers and various stakeholders on Access to Justice and Promotion of Constitutional Rights in Malmesbury, Cape Town on Wednesday, 22 October 2014.

This is part of the Boland Area Human Rights Awareness Project which was established after the farm workers’ protests in De Doorns in 2012 to provide Human Rights education initiatives and programmes to promote constitutional rights.

This initiative is a partnership of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development and Foundation for Human Rights and its purpose is to support communities to know their rights and where to direct their grievances and demands to.
