The Deputy Minister of Health, Dr Joe Phaahla, will on Friday, 31 October, embark on an oversight visit to the health facilities in the North West province, as part of the department`s programme to monitor the state of healthcare delivery across the country.
Deputy Minister Phaahla will be accompanied by the MEC for Health in the North West, Sello Lehari, and senior health officials when he assesses health service delivery, check infrastructure in Mafikeng Provincial Hospital, North-West Psychiatric Hospital, and Clinic.
The visit will enable government leaders to proactively identify areas needing urgent attention to make necessary interventions.
