The Deputy Minister of the Department of Telecommunications and Postal Services Prof. Hlengiwe Mkhize will tomorrow be the guest speaker during a Women’s Month Celebration in the Ekurhuleni Municipality.
The Deputy Minister will speak about job opportunities in the ICT sector at the Women’s Month Celebration that will also be an Information and Communications Technology Awareness Campaign in Ekurhuleni.
The event will be facilitated by the Speaker of the municipality in partnership with the National Association of Manufacturers in Electronic Components (NAMEC).
The objective of the event is the empowerment of women, the youth and those with disabilities in fighting the triple challenges of Poverty, Inequalities and Unemployment and the creation of employment.
