Early christmas party for children of Rehloka Eng Drop-In Centre
The Department of Social Development, in partnership with MTN-SA Foundation, will celebrate a Christmas party with the children of Rehloka Eng Drop-In Centre, Greater Polokwane Municipality, on Saturday, December 13 2014.
The Rehloka Eng Drop-In Centre, situated in Titibe Village at Ga-Dikgale local tribal area, provides food and parental support to vulnerable children. It accommodates 205 children and youth from the ages of 5 - 18 years, most of whom are affected by HIV and come from child-headed households.
The Deputy Minister of Social Development, Ms Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu, will also use the opportunity to meet with the parents of the children to discuss issues that affect the Centre and how its work can be sustained.
