The Deputy Minister of Social Development, Hon. Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu, in support of Al-Imdaad Foundation, invites the media to the launch of the Foundations’ Operation Winter Warmth, to take place in Diepsloot, Johannesburg on Tuesday, 28 April 2015.
Operation Winter Warmth is as an annual project of The Al-Imdaad Foundation aiming to assist underprivileged communities by providing blankets, gloves and hats across our beloved country, South Africa to keep our citizens warm in the harsh winters.
Previously the Al-Imdaad Foundation have successfully partnered with the Department of Social Development and has expressed their willingness to continue this partnership with the Department on various projects.
The Deputy Minister of Social Development, Hon. Bogopane-Zulu, will give a keynote speech and the programme will include the hand out of hats and gloves to the school children as well as giving blankets and food parcels to the elderly in the community of Diepsloot.
