The Deputy Minister of Police, Mr Cassel Mathale together with SAPS management will on Saturday, 12 August 2023, host a community engagement on Gender-Based-Violence and Femicide (GBVF) in Potchefstroom, North West.
Substance abuse which includes the abuse of alcohol and drugs will also be high on the agenda.
Ikageng Police Station in Potchefstroom has been identified as one of the top 20 stations in the North West that have a challenge of high levels of contact crimes including GBVF.
The community engagement will unfold as follows:
