Deputy Minister Buti Manamela visits NYDA beneficiaries in Durban, 7 Apr

Deputy Minister in the Presidency responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Youth Development and Administration, Buti Manamela will visit eco-friendly NYDA funded projects based in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Supported by the Executive Chairperson of the NYDA board, Mr Yershen Pillay, Deputy Minister will tour the business premises of two beneficiaries. The visits will start at Carwash Supreme, run by thirty-one-year-old Mbongeni Msomi, which specialises in waterless carwashes and offers an eco-friendly, quality approved service. Deputy Minister Manamela will then commence to Sbumeister Trading cc which is an Industrial Plastic Recycler (IPR) based in Pinetown, owned by thirty-five-year old Siyabonga Shange.

The beneficiary visits continually afford both the Deputy Minister and the NYDA Chairperson an opportunity to get their hands on deck with actual work undertaken by young entrepreneurs and interact with the beneficiaries to monitor progress.
