Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Buti Manamela will visit a drug rehabilitation centre to offer motivation to young people who have taken a decision to turn their lives around.
Substance abuse has become a serious health problem among young people in South Africa and young people are increasingly experiment with drugs and alcohol.
It is for this reason that combating substance abuse is one of the main priorities of the National Youth Policy 2020. In ensuring the implementation of the policy, Deputy Minister Manamela will inspect a drug rehabilitation centre and interact with young people who have decided to are turn away from drug abuse.
