Deputy Minister Buti Manamela donates blood, 9 Apr

Deputy Minister in the Presidency responsible for Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Youth Development and Administration Mr Buti Manamela will tomorrow, 9 April 2015 donate blood.

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) recently reported a shortage in their blood reserves. Deputy Minister Manamela is therefore responding to the call for South Africans to donate blood as a simple act that can save lives.

This is also part of the Deputy Minister's programme for the Imbizo Focus Week which takes place from 7-12 April 2015. During this week, Deputy Minister Manamela will be conducting unannounced visits to various service delivery centers as well as visit young people who have benefited from the NYDA grant programme around the country.
