Deputy Minister Andries Nel to visit Umhlathuze Municipality
Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA) Deputy Minister, Mr Andries Nel will visit Umhlathuze Municipality on the 14 and 15 June 2018.
In line with the Integrated Urban Development Framework (IUDF), the Department of Cooperative Governance with its partners designed an Intermediate City Municipalities programme that provides support to enable them to respond to the challenges that municipalities face.
As part of the implementation and monitoring of the IUDF, the Political Steering Committee will visit Umhlathuze Municipality to get first hand experience of the challenges that IUDF seek to address.
