Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Deputy Minister, Mr Andries Nel will on 11 April 2019, attend and deliver a message of support at the launch of the 2018/19 State of Urban Safety Report hosted by Cities Network together with stakeholders.
The Deputy Minister will address delgates on the 2018/19 State of Urban Safety Report within the context of Intergrated Urbarn Development Framework (IUDF) which has amongst many, highlighted issues around urbanisation and the challenges it brings.
The challenges that arise form rapid urbanisation form part of the multiplicty of root causes of cirme and violence in urban areas.
