The City of Cape Town and the Department of Transport and Public Works have embarked on a joint venture to legalise and regulate the “Amaphela” operations operating in the townships in Cape Town. Phase 1 of this project will see the first 100 decision letters handed over to the successful applicants at an official ceremony tomorrow at the Gugulethu Sports Complex.
Today, Minister of Transport and Public Works, Robin Carlisle, will be presiding over the handing over of the decision letters to the recipients.

Drive straight, turning left at the next intersection by the petrol station. The Gugulethu Sports Complex is close to Mzolis in Gugulethu.
