For the second year in the running, dozens of government official, the private sector, academia, labour federations and civil society representatives and other interested observers will gather for the Department of Labour’s (DoL) annual Employment Equity (EE) and Transformation Indaba.
At the heart of the one-day gathering will be the launch(es) of the 14th Commission for Employment Equity (CEE) Annual Report and the EE Public Register. The CEE’s 14th Annual Report will shed light on progress that South Africa has made in transforming the workplace.
The 2014 EE and Transformation Indaba, that will coincide with the launch(es) of the CEE report and the Public Register Report, will be held at Protea Hotel, Balalaika (Sandton) on 9 April 2014.
This year’s EE and Transformation Indaba will be held under the theme: “Turning the new leaf against all odds”.
NB: Labour Minister Mildred Oliphant together with the CEE Chairperson Dr Loyiso Mbabane are also inviting the media to a press conference that will be held alongside the launch of the CEE Annual Report during the EE and Transformation Indaba.
