The women In Agriculture united in contributing towards the 16 days campaign for violence against women & children abuse.
The women in Agriculture, Land Reform & Rural Development will be hosting an Agri 5km Walk in an attempt to create awareness of women and children abuse as well as to provide support to poverty stricken areas.
Date: Saturday, 23 November 2013
Time: 07h20 for 08h00
Place: Department of Agriculture, Land Reform & Rural Development, George Street, Kimberley
Dress code: Green t-shirts (dress in a way that demonstrates abuse, e.g. blue eye, scars on arm etc)
We are humbly requesting that each individual taking part in the walk to kindly bring tin food, toiletries (for the girl and boy child) or sanitary towels, which we will then be distributing to poverty stricken areas.
Your contribution to this worthy cause will bring smiles to those less fortunate. These areas are suffering with day to day living and each contribution will be immensely appreciated.
Come and join us, males and females, in this exciting and positive initiative & do your good deed for the day!
Lucky draws will also be held.
