Cooperative Governance Affairs Minister, Pravin Gordhan, will meet the leadership of Emalahleni and Steve Tshwete local municipalities to, amongst others, deliberate on the state of these municipalities and discuss critical local government matters affecting them.
Steve Tshwete Local Municipality is one of the 22 municipalities that achieved a clean audit in the 2012/13 financial year while Emalahleni was placed under administration in April 2013.
