In support of Mandela Day, the Department of Basic Education and Nestle will on Monday 21 July 2014 activate the healthy kids initiative at Mmatso Primary School in Hammanskraal.
Mmatso primary school is one of the schools chosen by Nestlé and the department to spread the message of “Healthy Eating and Healthy Life Style” in support of International Mandela day which is commemorated internationally on 18 July.
The partners will devote 67 minutes to educating learners on different food groups and address questions on when we should eat and the importance of food in providing nutrition to sustain and promote the concept “Healthy Eating and Healthy Life Style”
