The South African National Defence Force (SANDF) takes its football championship to greater heights as it hosts soccer tournament at Army Support Base (ASB) in Potchefstroom from 10 to 13 November 2015.
This tournament qualifies young talented SANDF Football teams to be selected and represent SANDF in football career progression and form part of the SAFA Development Programme. The South African National Defence Force Football Association (SANDFFA) Inter Arms of Services Championships is an affiliate of the SAFA development programme.
Sport is one of the fundamental activities that a country needs to bind the nation together. Physical Training, Sport and Recreation (PTSR) is an integral part of the SANDF which was established to enhance the members’ ability to cope with indispensable military culture, tradition, norms and duties.
The SANDF is mandated to present sport as a matter of national interest in various levels. Members of the media are cordially invited to attend this tournament as depicted above.
