Correctional Services invites media to tour
The Department of Correctional Services will open its gates to the media in a tour of Leeuwkop Management Area on 30 October 2018, and engage on the state of corrections in this country.
The tour will provide the media an accurate view on the challenges confronting the corrections system, as well as programmes designed for rehabilitation.
The Management of the Department will lead the tour, and media will be afforded one-on-one interviews during the tour and a detailed briefing during lunch.
The tour is scheduled as follows:-
Date: Tuesday, 30 October 2018
Venue: Leeuwkop Correctional Facility, near Sandton
Time: 10h00
Media is encouraged to arrive on time as common transport will be used during the tour.
