The department of Correctional Services in partnership with Commission for Gender Equality will host Men’s Indaba in support of 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children campaign. The aim of this initiative is to encourage male Correctional officials to stand together in solidarity against domestic violence.
The event will also be used to create a dialogue amongst men on what causes such gross abuse towards women and children and further seek solutions to the scourge. The campaign will be carried out under the topic: “Join the dialogue to end violence against women and children”.
