Media Invitation to the Brics Ministers of Communications’ Meeting
The Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies, Hon. Mondli Gungubele, invites members of the media to the BRICS Ministers of Communication Meeting, which will be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) from 31 July to 04 August 2023.
South Africa assumed the chairship of BRICS on 1 January 2023. As a precursor to the BRICS Summit that will soon be hosted by the country, a number of BRICS meetings were scheduled to be convened by the country. Among these, is the Ministers of Communications Meeting, which is hosted by the Minister of the Department of Communications and Digital Technologies.
The media, as an important stakeholder in national and international discourse, is hereby invited to the BRICS Ministers of Communications Meeting, where the Ministers of the BRICS countries will outline the programme for cooperation among the BRICS nations on ICT-related matters.
