Commissioner Glen Mashinini’s visit to the voting station in Diepsloot area
The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Commissioner Glen Mashinini will visit the voting stations in the Diepsloot area, Midrand. The purpose of the walkabout is to encourage the eligible voters in the area to go to their voting stations and register and or update their address details on the voters’ roll.
Commissioner Mashinini will also provide an opportunity to the media to engage with him during the walkabout and discuss the readiness for the Electoral Commission to hold the 2019 the national and provincial elections.
