The Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform will today celebrate 16 Days of Activism by showering Christmas gift to Nomzamo Home Care for Disabled in Peddie. The gifts will including washing machine and Jojo tanks for water harvesting. Already the department has over the last four years supported the Home with inputs and gardening tools to keep their vegetable garden going. The department this year also erected a poultry structure.
The gifts is part of the department's commitment to ensure food security in all places, including church yards and school as well individual gardens.
