Buffalo City Mayor to handover Nkosinathi Primary School as part of R 8.2 Billion ASIDI Project

The Executive Mayor of the Buffalo City Municipality, Mr Alfred Mtsi, through the Accelerated Schools Infrastructure Delivery Initiative (ASIDI) of the Department of Basic Education will tomorrow, Friday 06 November 2015 continue to deliver sustainable change to rural education with the official handover of Nkosinathi Primary School in Berlin, East London.

The school, built at a cost of R 9 Million as part of ASIDI, an R8.2-billion programme whose mandate is the eradication of schools built from inappropriate material, in their entirety, and to provide basic services of water, sanitation and electricity to those schools that never had any.

The new state of the art facility will provide an environment that will promote optimum learning and teaching.
