The Portfolio Committee on Basic Education will tomorrow (20 September 2013) meet with the Western Cape Education Department on the state of readiness for the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations for 2013.
The NSC examinations will start on 28 October and end on 29 November. Due to the security involved in ensuring credible exams, the meeting will not be open to the media. The chairperson of the committee will however be available after the meeting for media interviews.
