DBE and NESTLÉ SA to host panel discussion on the value and importance nutrition and physical education in schools

The Department of Basic Education and Nestlé South Africa cordially invite you to a panel discussion where key stakeholders will discuss the value and importance of driving nutrition and physical education amongst school going children in South Africa.  The theme of the panel discussion is “Enhancing nutrition and physical education programmes to promote health and wellbeing of children”.

All the panellists have vast experience working on children nutrition and physical education programmes, in the private and public sectors.

Among the panellists will be Mr Norman Mphake from the Physical Education Institute of South Africa’s (PEISA), Ms. Neo Rakwena of the DBE’s National School’s Nutrition Programme (NSNP), Mrs Naazneen Sali-Ameen from Nestlé South Africa, Professor Jeanette Kearney from Vaal University of Technology and independent Dietitian Mrs Lebogang Roda.
