The Deputy Minister of Basic Education, Enver Surty will today, Thursday 14 August 2014 deliver the keynote address at the closing ceremony and award evening of the Teacher Centre Management Training Workshop which was conducted through the sustained partnership with the Vodacom Foundation.
The evening will bring to a close the week long workshop and will be graced by Tlou Sekgolela and Lehlogonolo Masalesa, two players from Orlando Pirates Football Club which has also played an integral role in ensuring the community of Orlando have a centre that can be utilised by learners and teachers alike.
As the centres that form an integral part of institutional mechanisms, Teacher Training Centres are geared to drive the provision of quality training to our teachers in order to improve their skills and competencies.
