The Department of Arts and Culture will be hosting a Fun Run and Walk for charity to coincide with the Nelson Mandela Month Celebrations under the theme “Mobilising the society in community development”. The event will take place on Friday, 26 July 2013 at the Tshwane Events Centre, Pretoria West.
Proceeds of entry fees will be donated to the Sonitus School for the Hearing Impaired and the Zodwa Special School for the Mentally Handicapped. The Fun Run and Walk for Charity will be conducted over 5 km, 8 km and 12 km priced at R25, R30 and R35 respectively.
