Annual Devillewood Memorial Service at Burgerspark

The annual DevilleWood Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, 20 July 2014, at 11h00 at Burgers Park, Pretoria.

The service is annually hosted by the Pretoria Memorial Services Council (PMSC). The aim of the service is to commemorate the deaths of all persons who lost their lives during the Battle of DevilleWood (France) in 1916.

Dignitaries such as the Chief of the South African National Defence Force, Foreign Commissioners, Foreign Attaches, Senior Officers of the Defence Force, Metro Mayor of Tshwane and members of the Military Veterans Organisations will be in attendance. The wreath laying ceremony will be officiated by Colonel John Ramoshaba. Various organisations will also lay wreaths and plant crosses during the service.
