Agreement to provide training on motor vehicle driving skills

The South African Police Service (SAPS) and the Safety and Security Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) have entered into an agreement to provide training on Motor Vehicle Driving Skills to a 1 000  operational members during the 2014/15 financial year.

The project is directed at members who are not in possession of a driver’s license through the K53, to address operational concerns and service delivery impediments. The value chain of command and control in the respective environments have identified this project as an opportunity to improve the driving skills of SAPS members.
