Acting MEC Jerry Ndou visits Limpopo schools, 29 Apr to 15 May

Department continues with analysis of Annual National Results around the province

The department is working hard to keep improving performance at schools and in particular, the results of grade 12 examinations. For the grade 12 results, the department is visiting all the districts where stakeholders including teachers and schools’ management teams get full and detailed reports of how they performed in the 2014 grade 12 examinations.

The main aim of the road-shows, addressed by the Acting MEC for Education, Mr Jerry Ndou, is to assist schools in identifying gaps and be assisted on interventions. The events are attended by hundreds of teachers with the aim of going back and work hard to improve pass rate in their schools. The department is aiming at reaching and even surpassing the target of 80% pass rate in the coming grade 12 examination.

The visits are as follows:

29 April 2015: Capricorn District, Ngoako Ramahlodi at 10h00
30 April 2015: Waterberg District, Mokopane EMPC at 09h00
5 May 2015: Mopani District, Giyani at 09h00
8 May 2015: Sekhukhune District at 09h00
14 to 15 May 2015:  Vhembe District  Warship House at 09h00
