Tomorrow, 6 August 2014, the Minister of Sport and Recreation, Mr Fikile Mbalula will announce the arrival of Team SA from the Commonwealth Games that took place in Glasgow, Scotland from 23 July to 3 August 2014.
Not only will team SA’s achievements be honored and acknowledged but also those of the Proteas Test Cricket Team as well as the IBF Super Fly Weight World Champion, Zolani "Last Born" Tete.
These celebrations will take place on Friday, 8 August 2014. Open buses carrying the athletes will depart from Olympic House at 11h00
It is against this background that we request all media houses to attend the media briefing session taking place on Wednesday, 6 August 2014 during which more information will be shared.
