The Tshwane Member of the Mayoral Committee, Councillor Dikeledi Lehobye and the Strategic Executive Director for Community Safety, Commissioner Mpho Mmutle, will today receive the Gauteng MEC for Community Safety, Mr Khabisi Mosunkutu, on his visit to the city.
The purpose of this public meeting is as follows:
* To introduce the MEC officially to the safety and security structures
* To strengthen relations with structures at the local level.
Attending the meeting will be the Tshwane community safety department’s top management; Tshwane Metro Police Directors and Regional Commanders; South African Police Service (SAPS) Station Commissioners and two SAPS members per station from all 32 SAPS stations in Tshwane; Community Police Forum (CPFs) from all SAPS stations; three youth desk members per station; two reservists representatives per station and three patroller representatives per station. In total over 700 people are expected to attend the meeting.
