You are hereby advised that the Speaker of Gauteng Provincial Legislature, Honourable Lindiwe Maseko, will host a Women’s Breakfast in commemoration and celebration of Women’s Month. The breakfast will be hosted in honour of former Deputy President of South Africa, Ms. Baleka Mbethe, who will also be delivering a key note address at the event.

The Women’s breakfast is aimed at recognizing the significant role that Women have both in a workplace and at home. It also aims and reminding all Women about the hard earned freedom which was manifested through the march to the Union Buildings in 1956 which, should on daily basis encourage them to value their worth and their anticipated contribution towards; the betterment of lives of the people in their Provinces, Communities and Organisations that they serve.
The guests to attend the breakfast include: GPL female Managers and Directors, the Premier of Gauteng Ms Nomvula Mokonyane, Gauteng Women MECs, GPL Women MPLs, Women Heads of Departments (GPG), Women Speaker’s Local Government in Gauteng, Women in Business, Women NGOs, The National Empowerment Fund (NEF), Business Women Association, The South African Women Enterprises Network, the Small-Medium Enterprises Development and and Economically marginalised Women across all five Regions of Gauteng.
