Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane, together with Joburg Mayor Parks Tau, will tomorrow, 2 February 2012, launch the Premier's Hotline. The Hotline is an integration of all the existing hotlines of the Provincial Government departments and agencies, and municipalities. It is aimed at bringing operational effectiveness to the existing systems.
The Premier's Hotline will also create an easy and affordable means of interaction between the public and the Gauteng government. Members of the public will now be able to receive information and file complaints on issues relating to non-delivery of public services.
The Premier would also appreciate the citizen's advice on how best to tackle non-delivery issues in their respective communities – because they know their neighbourhoods better.
Details of the event are as follows:
Date: Thursday, 2 February 2012
Time: 10h00
Venue: Grace Bible Church, Dlebelendlovu Street, Pimville Zone 1, Soweto
