The Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) will host the first Human Resources (HR) summit at Emperors Palace on 31 October to 1 November to address issues pertinent to HR in the Public Sector.
The primary purpose of the summit is to reposition HR as a strategic partner in the quest for delivery of strategic priorities of the provincial government. Human Resources is governed by the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA) regulatory framework.
Further, the rationale for this summit is to provide a platform where HR Practitioners in GPG can share best practices and take their rightful place as key drivers of service delivery.
This much awaited event will culminate in a Gala Dinner where Premier Nomvula Mokonyane will recognise the best performing HR teams in the province.
