Gauteng Premier, Nomvula Mokonyane; Local Government and Housing MEC, Ntombi Mekgwe and Community Safety MEC, Faith Mazibuko, will on Monday launch the provincial Women's Month programme.
The Premier and the MECs will help demolish an old house of a 100 year-old granny to give way for a newly-built house on the same premises in Kagiso, Mogale City.
The Department of Local Government and Housing, together with woman contractor, will on the day, also unveil the plan of the new house that will be handed-over upon completion at the end of Women's Month.
