Gauteng Premier to officially open and rename the new Germiston hospital

Gauteng Premier, Nomvula Mokonyane will this morning officially open and rename the new Germiston Hospital.

This new 300 bed hospital has technology advanced equipment which will boost the delivery of quality healthcare in the province.

Following the unveiling of the plague, the Premier and Gauteng Health and Social Development MEC Ntombi Mekgwe will lead journalists on a tour of the new hospital.

The new state-of-the-art hospital will among other services offer: Radiology, Theatre, Family and Internal Medicine, Paediatrics unit including Prevention of Mother to Child Therapy, Comprehensive Chronic Illness management and treatment; Male Medical Circumcision, Reproductive Health including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ante Natal Clinic, Choice of Pregnancy and Cervical Screening, Medico-legal services provided in Casualty and Dental Service.
