President Jacob Zuma and Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane will on Sunday, 24 October 2010, meet the national women's team Banyana Banyana ahead of the start of the CAF African Women Championship (AWC) 2010.
The CAF AWC, featuring eight of Africa's premier women's national teams, takes place in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality from 31 October 2010 to 14 November 2010, with the two finalists qualifying for the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup in Germany.
President Zuma and Premier Mokonyane will meet the team at the Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa at 12h30, before the 13h00 kickoff of the match between Banyana Banyana and the Zimbabwean women's squad.
