Gauteng Premier, MECs to meet with community development workers (CDWs), community care givers and health care workers

Gauteng Premier, Nomvula Mokonyane and Members of the Executive Council will tomorrow come face-to-face with 5 000 foot soldiers deployed in various wards in the province.

This is an effort from the provincial leadership to get first-hand accounts of the challenges which community development workers (CDWs), community care givers and health care workers encounter on a daily basis as they deliver services to Gauteng communities.

The Gauteng Executive Council believes this engagement is critical to its plans of accelerating service delivery and making real the slogan “Kuyasheshwa"Gauteng Working Better”, especially as this group of workers is at the coalface of bringing quality services to the people of
Gauteng.
