Gauteng Premier hands over bursaries to top learners

Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane will on Tuesday, 1 February, hand over 1051 Bursaries to top learners from Quintile 1, 2 and 3 schools (no fee paying schools).

The bursaries are offered by the Provincial Government through its Gauteng City Region Academy (GCRA).

This initiative will encourage the 'Class of 2011' to work harder to also become beneficiaries of this scheme. A further 400 bursaries have been allocated for artisanship and Further Education and Training (FET) colleges.

Details of the event are as follows:
Date: Tuesday, 1 February 2011
