The role that the church can play in assisting government to improve the lives of poor communities will take centre stage when Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane addresses the annual Justice and Peace Conference on Saturday, 13 November 2010.
The premier and the conference participants will share ideas on how partnerships between Faith Based Organisations and the local government structures can contribute to strengthening and promoting human value systems to eradicate social ills, such as mismanagement and corruption in governance, and poverty and crime in communities.
