The Gauteng Acting Premier Ms Nandi Mayathula-Khoza together with all MECs in the province will visit matric revision sites on Wednesday, 12 October 2011. The aim is to motivate learners and educators ahead of the final grade 12 examinations on 24 October 2011.
There are two types of sites, walk-in and residential sites. The purpose of the sites is to take grade 12 learners through revision and exam technique to prepare them for the final examinations. The camps have been running between 9 to 21 October 2011.
All Gauteng MECs will visit a site on Wednesday in Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg, Tshwane and Sedibeng. The list of deployments of MECs is attached.
The Acting Premier and Education MEC Ms Barbara Creecy will visit the revision site at the Stable Inn Conference Centre in Springs, Ekurhuleni.
